My interest is in utilizing the latest digital technology to capture and display the
natural beauty that surrounds us, as we make our way through everyday life. So
much of this beauty is missed due to our everyday busy schedule.
I have been involved in photography for more than 50 years and have been taking
pictures for various government agencies in the Far East, Middle East, Europe, and
North America. My most recent assignment, as a consultant with the Navel Postgraduate
School, has taken me to Okinawa to document technical issues and photograph the beauty of that island.
It was a great opportunity to apply new digital photography techniques in an area with so much natural beauty.
The picture below, of the Space Needle, is taken during broad daylight and processed with Edge Illumination technology software to produce these results. This technique can be applied to various scenes to produce some very colorful effects.
